Claudia comes from a dancing background as a professional dancer and performer in the Theatre and loves to explore movements across different disciplines. Having started ballet at the young age of 7 Claudia has been in the Pilates world since 2010. Did you know Claudia is an Aerial Master trainer and trained in Antigravity and Bodyflying-Stark?!
What do you like about teaching at the Pilates Academy?
I love teaching the Full Academy class and having the opportunity to use all the equipment! And I love teaching at the Pilates Academy because we have the opportunity to grow and be free to express ourselves with special class or workshops for clients. We are also really lucky that Cloe always invites amazing International Pilates instructors and movers to work with us at the studio.
What is your Pilates speciality?
I worked for 6 years in a Pilates Studio with a focus on Orthopedic and Postural Gymnastics, Rehabilitation and Scoliosis so I care a lot about posture and alignment during the classes. And of course movement! I have background as a dancer so I love to incorporate stretching into my classes because I truly believe that muscles have to be flexible and strong! We have to be able to move in 360 degrees avoiding injuries. Then I have so much passion teaching my Aerial classes because it’s a fusion between Pilates dance and yoga, that’s why I decide to became also a Master Trainer for the Aerial workout!
What have you learnt the most from teaching at the Pilates Academy?
I confirmed that you will never stop learning! Any single client, teacher or experience will teach you something new. So every day i learn something new.
What is your favourite piece of Pilates equipment?
It’s hard to decide! Reformer can be playful, Cadillac can be fun and Chair a lot of challenges in such a small piece of equipment…. I love everyone and of course the hammocks!!
What else do you do outside of Pilates for fitness?
Apart from Pilates I do Gyrotonic and dance classes! My happiness and my therapy!
